1. About the Olympiads

Russian Robot Olympiad (RRO) is the World Robot Olympiad national final and one of the biggest and distinguished robotics event for the young folks in Russia, as well. All categories and competition tasks are fully compliant with the WRO regulations. Every year more than 600 young students take a part in the tournament and this year will be no exception! The competition traditionally takes place at Innopolis University that is meant to be the future IT capital of Russia. Mission of Innopolis project is to create favorable opportunities for the economic growth of the Russian Federation through further development of Information Technology, improving welfare of the nation and creation of a highly professional and intellectual society.

Along with it, we also provide Innopolis Open Olympiad in Robotics (IOR) for the first time. It is considered as an international competition for young persons around the world. The competition is held in several categories, such as intelligent autonomous cars; intelligent autonomous underwater vehicles; intelligent aerial unmanned vehicles; intelligent robotic systems projects (for students aged 13-18) and advanced robotics challenge (for students aged 17-25). Thus, it includes areas that are not represented at WRO.
